Baltic Triangle Green Zine

We’ve updated the Baltic Triangle map with a new focus on sustainable businesses – and you’ll find them around the area to take away with you…

Our iconic Triangle map now explores all things sustainability in a new Green Zine, highlighting some of our sustainable neighbours on the map.

The zine follows our work in 2023 and 2024 with Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority, which supported a series of six clothes swaps across the area to reduce clothes heading to landfill. Events were held at Baltic Creative, Arts Bar Baltic, Red Brick Market, 24 Kitchen Street and Hobo Kiosk, with impacts from that programme including:

  • Diverting 1.32 tonnes of textiles from landfill

  • Engaging 1,000 participants

  • Involving 20 volunteers, providing 403 volunteer hours

  • Collaborating with local businesses, schools, and community organisations raising awareness and participation

Local businesses have contributed their sustainability tips to the zine, sharing ideas to reduce waste at home and at work.

Pick a copy up from venues across the area as well as Tourist Information in LiverpoolONE.
