Everton mural

Tucked between Hangar 34 and the CUC building, this tribute to Everton icons Howard
Kendall, Dixie Dean, Alan Ball, Neville Southall and Leighton Baines created a city centre
shrine for the Toffees faithful.

Alan Ball’s quote: “Once Everton has touched you, nothing will be the same” sits above the
quintet, which was driven by Everton fan Paul Morgan, creator of the Kit It Out project.
Dixie Dean’s granddaughter, Melanie Prentice, even paid a visit – it’s a place for fans and
family (though they’re one and the same), alike.
