Lucid Games refurbishes former grain mill as new home
As Liverpool continues to establish itself as a gaming hub, Lucid Games is moving into a newly refurbished site in the Baltic Triangle in a former Victorian grain mill.
Features like an old wheel, brickwork and exposed timber floors provide a nod to the building’s past, while providing custom-designed space for its growing team of 250, which blends both experienced employees and recent graduates.
Lucid Games is a BAFTA-nominated developer, and has contributed to major franchises like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Apex Legends, Sea of Thieves and many more. They’re a great asset to the Baltic Triangle, as a key part of the area’s growing game and tech hub.
COO of Lucid Games Nick Davies said: “With the growth of the studio over the last 15 years, it’s become important for us to now grow our footprint, but also to remain based within our roots in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle.”
