Punch Tarmey’s
Liverpool’s biggest (it’s seriously HUGE) and best Irish bar has live music every weekend on the main stage and outside in the atmospheric courtyard.
Described as the “true spirit of Ireland”, its exposed brick walls and tiled floor combine with dark wood panelling and cosy leather sofas and booths. It even includes the original warehouse machinery, and plenty of giant wooden barrels to remind you about the building’s long heritage of brewing.
It’s also an excellent spot to watch sport, with stacks of big screens, inside and out. There are two HUGE VIDEO WALLS inside and out, plus 18 screens inside ensuring you never miss a moment. Punch Tarmey’s is a card-only venue, but humans are allowed in, too.
