The Coburg Pub
For over 160 years, the Coburg has been a cornerstone at the intersection of Sefton and Stanhope Streets.
Originally named the Transatlantic in 1856 – and briefly known as the Devil and Exciseman – it adopted the name Coburg in 1891... Though, don't be surprised if a regular still affectionately refers to it as the Devil (but we promise, it’s nothing like what you’d imagine Satan’s local to be).
This traditional pub boasts all the classic pub beverages at the bar and pub snacks – perfect for sharing with your mates – plus a cosy fire in the back room. Again, not hellfire.
