After the hailed success of its maiden voyage in February 2011 at CUC and with over 20 promoters already on board from Liverpool such as Liverpool Live, Antipop, Mellowtone, Rebel Soul Collective, Newpath, Headspace & further afield including the legendary Chai Wallah's (see video attached for the proof), Salford based innovators Un-convention, Manchester contemporary art & creative writing champions Blank Media Collective & alt-folk wunderkinds Imploding Inevitable Festival (with Stealing Sheep already herded into their line-up). Under The Influence will once again bring across the Threshold of the emerging Shoreditch of Liverpool The Baltic Triangle. We're taking over venues including Camp and Furnace (formerly A Foundation), the new Picket, Elevator Cafe, the Scandanavian Church & the Blade Factory
Here's what they said about the last Threshold:
Kudos all round to the excellent team behind last weekends riotous Threshold Festival. The city categorically set out its manifesto for our creative, inventive and collaborative future. And being at the CUC this weekend felt like you were in the eye of the storm.
In years to come, those who attended can look back, misty eyed, and say, yeah, I was there at the very first one. It was that kind of event; the buzz was tangible.
