Baltic Triangle Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)
[09/12/2011]
The only issue will be the weather which may affect placing road markings.

w/c 28th November 2011 – letters will be sent to residents / businesses advising of the timescale for the scheme to become operational and the process for applying for parking permits;
w/c 5th December 2011 – signing and road markings will start to be implemented for a period of three weeks;
w/c 2nd January 2012 – any remedial or final works to signing / road markings will be completed;
w/c 9th January 2012 – a further letter will be sent out to residents / businesses to remind them to apply for permits and display them within their vehicles; and
w/c 16th January 2012 – enforcement of the controlled parking zone will commence.

· We understand the letters are to go out next week and will explain how to apply for the permits.
· The contact at 2020 is Sonia Smith – T:0151 237 2020 E:sonia.smith@2020liverpool.co.uk
· Enforcement will not take place until the markings (which are weather dependent) are completed and permits issued.

Please note:

There has been a delay in sending out the permit application letter to businesses/residents in the area because a new method to apply for permits is currently being prepared and tested. This will mean you will be able to apply and pay online. Once the permit issuing system is ready, I will be able to send you a letter explaining how to apply for permits, which should be next week.
