James Bond wears it. Now it's your turn! Win a fantastic Slazenger Heritage t-shirt
If it’s good enough for James Bond it’s good enough for you, right? This timeless, classic brand has been adorned by all the right people for long enough to earn its fashion pips. And we are thrilled that Slazenger Heritage has gift wrapped two T-shirts to giveaway…
This season’s Slazenger Heritage collection has been influenced by the fashion brand’s impressive history, which dates back to 1881.
Their enviable archives are showered with classic moments of history where Slazenger Heritage makes a memorable entrance thanks to the very many sophisticated patrons its acquired.
In 1964, the unfathomably cool James Bond (Sean Connery) plays a round of golf in a Slazenger Heritage jumper in
Goldfinger, and in the real world the very heroic Seve Ballasteros also
plays off in Slazenger Heritage. Then in 1977, Bing Crosby recorded
‘Little Drummer Boy’ with David Bowie in no other than a Slazenger Heritage sweater.
These captured moments and others like this have informed the classic remakes for Slazenger Heritage autumn/winter collection, which is in selected UK stores such as Ran (Liverpool), Hip (Leeds) and Stuarts (London).
The old-school style collectors’ cards and postcards have also been launched with this season’s collection adding an extra element of archive cool to A/W 2010.
Plenty people in the public eye have been photographed wearing Slazenger Heritage. Musicians from Sound of Guns and Wombats, TV chef Simon Rimmer, TV presenters Tim Lovejoy, Dermot O’Leary, Stephen Mulhern, Reggie Yates and Max Rushden are all sporting the range.
