After moving from its original venue in Hardman Street, The Picket has presented Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint, Joss Stone, Billy Bragg, The Mighty Diamonds, The Wombats, RZA from Wu Tang Clan, Ladytron, The Rascals, Damien Dempsey, Ian McNabb, John Peel Memorial Concerts, 'Fuse' and 'Bassline29' Dry Bar gigs for Liverpool's young musicians and bands, and events by mUmU, Circus, Chibuku, Carnival and Quadrant Park DJ's.

The venue has collaborated with many of the city's festivals including Liverpool Irish Festival, Writing on the Wall, Working Class Music Festival, Liverpool Sound City and Liverpool Music Week.

Supporting the Community
The Picket regularly promotes benefit concerts for local and national community organisations to assist with fundraising and awareness. In March 2009 the Picket hosted the launch of the Hillsborough Memorial CD 'Fields of Anfield Road' to mark the 20th Anniversary of the disaster.

Private Hire
The venue with its excellent in-house backline, PA and lighting systems is also available for hire.
